Hey y'all! Today's post is how to achieve a Jessie James Decker inspired, simple sex kitten/date night makeup. First, you need to start off with an evened out canvas - I applied L'Oreal Paris BB Cream in Light ($7.99) all over my face with a cosmetic sponge, and then used my ring finger to apply e.l.f. Maximum Coverage Concealer in Porcelain ($3.00) under my eyes, and on any areas that needed a little extra coverage. Then, I filled in my brows with Rimmel London's Brown Pencil in Hazel ($2.99). Now on to the eyes - I used my e.l.f. Shadow Palette ($10.00) in a golden bronze shade on my lids, and the dark brown on outer corners and in the creases. Then, I lined my eyes into a wing with Wet n Wild's Retractable Eyeliner in Blackest Black ($1.99), and then went back over the line, to really make it pop and last, with e.l.f.'s Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Black ($2.00). A few coats of L'Oreal Paris' Voluminous Mascara in Blackest Black ($4.99) on top lashes, and one sweep on the lower lashes, and the eyes are done! On my cheeks I used e.l.f.'s Baked Blush in Peachy Cheeky ($3.00). Then, on my lips I used Wet n Wild ColorIcon Liner in Brandy Wine ($0.99), e.l.f. Matte Lip Color in Natural ($3.00), and for a little glossy shine, I used Victoria Secret's Beauty Rush Gloss in Cupcake ($7.50). Nothing crazy complicated, right? Now, you just need to tease your hair a bit for some va-va-volume, and you're good to go out with the girls, or on a date with your honey! ;) I hope this inspired your inner sex kitten! xoxo! ~SNicole
Hey y'all! In this post I'm going to go over the cosmetics I use on a daily basis...my "tried and trues". I have tried SO MANY different products, and these are the ones that I just can't help but keep coming back to. >L'Oreal Paris BB Cream in either Light or Medium (depending on the season) - $7.99 >Rimmel London Brow Pencil in Hazel - $2.99 >Wet 'n Wild MegaLast Retractable Eyeliner in Blackest Black - $1.99 >e.l.f. Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Black - $2 >L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Mascara (the Original Formula) in Blackest Black - $4.99 >e.l.f. Blush/Bronzer Duo in St. Lucia - $3.00 >e.l.f. Maximum Coverage Concealer in Porcelain - $3.00 Now let's not get it twisted, I've used many other wonderful products, like Maybelline NY's Falsies Mascara, and Revlon ColorStay Foundation. No shade, but these are just better. Give 'em a try and see for yourself! xoxo! ~SNicole I figured that my first post should just be to say 'hello' to y'all, and let you know what to look forward to. I have created this blog for all the ladies who want to look gorge, but maybe don't have the means to buy the more expensive stuff. So, every product I use, and will post about, is completely affordable at $10 and under! I will be recreating looks, coming up with my own, giving product reviews, and talkin' about current beauty trends. I hope y'all enjoy! Feel free to leave comments, and/or make request for things you'd like to see! xoxo! ~SNicole
